What is the most creative experience you’ve had or encountered in your life? It could be a creative project that you yourself did, or seen others do. What is your take on what it means to be creative? How do you agree or disagree with the authors of the readings? Turkle discusses “we think with the objects we love, and we love the objects we think with.” A la Turkle’s discussion of “The Things That Matter,” pick an object from your life and discuss its meaning to you. Reflect on your favorite learning environment from your childhood. This should be a physical place (as opposed to a virtual place, for the purpose of this week’s topic). Reflect on your favorite play activities (this could be from your childhood or adulthood). With the concepts presented in the readings, discuss possible opportunities that play provided for learning. Post your writing [here].
