Read Rose first – we’ll discuss that first and most deeply starting on Tues.  Price & Wells covers some of the same territory and some new. We’re not interested in the history and institutions.  Nor do we care whether photography is art, but the earlier debates about photography and technology will resonate with some contemporary discussions.
