Getting to the readings

Readings for this course are either: (a) in the Course Reader; (b) online via the UC Berkeley library access privileges; or (c) on the web. We’ve tried to reduce the costs of the Course Reader by only including the readings that are not available on the web or available via the UC Berkeley library subscription service. The Course Reader is divided up into two volumes. Volume One covers weeks 1-3, while Volume Two covers, weeks 4-6. They are available at Copy Central on 2560 Bancroft Way. Just ask for “i103.” Volume Two is also on reserve at Moffitt Library.

Note: to access some of these readings while you are off campus, you will have to make sure you set up the library proxy server to access the UC Berkeley library. Here are the library’s instructions for connecting from off campus.

We have decided not to include Optional material in the Course Reader in order to reduce costs. If you are interested in any of these, please come talk to us and we can provide you with a copy or point you in the right direction.
