From Duke Center for Documentary Studies
Nancy Kalow’s “Visual Storytelling: The Digital Video Documentary” is CDS’s first e-book and is available for free to anyone who wants to make a watchable short documentary using a consumer camcorder, digital SLR camera, or cell phone.
Thanks for this link Nancy. Duke’s CDS has come up a couple of times in the class (that’s where those Big House workshops we watched last week were held). What would say is the rough equivalent at Berkeley or in the Bay Area? Something from the J-School?
Nothing here that’s equivalent. The Duke center is famous for its documentary work.
