Feb 9th: “Rural Broadband: Federal Players and Policies,” (CONFIRMED) Heather Hudson, visiting scholar and expert on rural broadband policy in North America

Feb 16th: no class (president’s day)

Feb 23rd: First field site visit – introducing the network, the staff and the subscribers/community (two full days – overnight stay).

March 2nd: Projects – organizational and planning session

We would like to lead a discussion on participatory design methods and how we can incorporate them into our research for the class.
