Final Presentation

Your project presentations are scheduled for Thursday, May 2nd. We will start class promptly at 5:40 so please arrive on time and ready to go.

If you plan to use PowerPoint to present:

  • email Colin and I your presentations prior to class, or
  • bring on a jump drive and get to class by 5:30 to put your presentation on the school laptop

Bring two printed copies of your project plans for submission.

Please bring two hard copies of your final project plans to class.

The order of the presentations will be:

  1. NotSkool
  2. Bike Pods
  3. Paws for Thought
  4. Relaxation Station
  5. JustBeamIt

You will have up to 10 minutes for your team presentation followed by up to 5 minutes of follow-up questions from the class.

The format of your presentation should be based on what your team believes will be most valuable to share with the class. Consider offering us an overview of your project along with the key insights and challenges from your process. Not everyone is required to speak, but different team members are free to present different parts of the project.

Prior to class on the 29th, please have one person from your team post a comment to this page that includes:
– Project title
– A brief description
– Team member names

Technical note:
We won’t have time to spare troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. If your team is using software and has any concerns about getting the content to play, we encourage you to arrive at class early to test your presentation beforehand. Note: there is no requirement to use powerpoint, etc. This is simply to advise teams that will be using technical presentation aids.

We’re looking forward to seeing your presentations!

  1. Project title: “Paws for Thought” Dog Cafe

Project Description: The objective of this project is to establish a dog cafe where students can utilize cafe amenities (study space, internet access, drinks and baked goods, social activity), augmented by stress-relieving interaction with man’s best friend in a homey environment. In addition to promoting the mental and emotional health of students, the dog cafe would promote awareness of abandoned dogs and animal cruelty, as well as the importance of supporting local businesses by serving locally baked goods.
