Make a Short Audio Piece

Create an audio piece that evokes some event or place.  Record at least some of your own audio (using your phone or computer is fine, if that’s all you have) and edit it.  (You can supplement your own audio with music or sound effects from sources like Freesound.)

The purpose of this is to get you thinking about (and listening to!) audio, and comfortable with audio editing tools. You can’t do a good job with audio (stand-alone, or as part of a multimedia project) until you are comfortable with the tools.  Audacity and Garage Band work; Hindenburg is better.

This should run about three to five minutes, and have at least two audio tracks. It should not be a random bit of sound, but have some point to it: if not telling a story, then creating an atmosphere or setting a scene.

This could be two people talking, but on different tracks (i.e., not just a conversation between them).  It could be a person talking, with music or sound effects.  It canNOT be all music.
