Cameras: A number of video cameras will be available in conjunction with the assignments/projects for 246.
Editing programs: The major (ie. commercial) options are Final Cut and Adobe Premier. Free or low-cost programs, such as iMovie, are a reasonably good option for completing work in this course.

I have a canon rebel t1i that I’d like to use, and I would also like to edit using Final Cut, if possible
I have a Sony alpha NEX-5 digicam that shoots in HD and might also have access to a Panasonic HDC-TM700 camcorder.
As for software, I only have experience with iMovie 🙁
i will use the loaner Bloggie camera. Additionally, I have no editting experience. I will use iMovie to complete course assignments.
